Architectural Design I

This studio module required us to put our knowledge gained from foundation to the test in creating and developing complete designs. We deepened our knowledge around design elements and principles, tectonics and ergonomics through each subsequent project, keeping the user's experience in mind.

Tectonics: Material, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration
-Isolation Structure

Project 2

Individually, we were to apply our understanding of tectonics, materiality , anthropometry and ergonomics into the design of an isolation structure, based on the chosen banal action(s) and personal experiences during the pandemic.

Space: Sensorial Experience
- Sensory Space

Final Project

We were to apply all that we learned throughout our lectures and past two project into the making of a sensorial space. The user experiences must revolve around the different human senses as well as emotions.
