Architecture Design Studio IV | ARC 60508

Lecturers: Mr. Ahmad Nazmi Mohamed Anuar, Ar Alina Choong, Ar Edward Chew, Mr Hazazi Hamzah, Ar Fadzwin Hashim, and Ar Shahira Shaharuddin

Tutor: Ar Fadzwin Hashim

Building atop the previous semesters, this studio focused on implementing practical design strategies and construction systems with community architecture that responds appropriately to the site context and user requirements. We began with introductions to clustered building typology as well as universal design in public spaces before proceeding with a site analysis of the Kepong Botanical Garden's microsite. We then proposed a masterplan aimed to improve the connectivity between the botanical park and the neighbouring community, allocating a built area where a wellness centre could be built for said community and visitors of the park.
