MOVE Project: Knowmads

(Group) In a group of 4, we were to host a MOVE project that would raise general awareness about the Taylor's Graduate Capabilities (TGC) Skills and encourage others to cultivate them as well. Our group was assigned the 4th TGC: Lifelong Learning and our chosen focus for this project was TGC 4.3: Demonstrate ability in self-assessment for learning.

For Part (a), we first brainstormed the hows, whats, whys, and whens of the project. We concluded that we wanted to use Instagram as our main platform to spread awareness, focusing on teaching university students how to perform effective self-assessment.

After Part (a), we carried out the actual project. While we did not garner as big of an audience as we hoped, we did expand our own knowledge of self-assessment along with close friends and family, so it was still a meaningful experience.

We have learned the importance and strength of proper advertising, and will utilize it better in upcoming projects.

Reflection

We were able to expand our knowledge around self-assessment and project management. Our understanding of team dynamics and leadership role + styles have also deepened, so it was a very educational project.
